The SenseCAP M1 is a ready-to-use LoRaWAN indoor gateway that works with the Helium LongFi Network. The SenseCAP M1 connects to The People’s Network in minutes with just a few simple steps, allowing you to construct low-cost LoRa applications.

The Helium network is all about providing coverage with the right level of redundancy, which means that while it’s incentivized to go to new places, if there are too many miners nearby, it starts penalizing your rewards. The transmit scale is what it’s called. Your transmit scale will be 1.0 if you are in a well-distributed area, and will mathematically decrease if the redundancy thresholds for a given area are exceeded. This also means that when beaconing or observing events, your possible benefits will be cut in half.

SenseCAP M1 is a LoRaWAN gateway with powerful and stable performance, based on a Raspberry Pi 4 (4G/8G RAM) and embedded with a WM1302/WM1303 (Semtech SX1302/SX1303) LoRa concentrator, with miles of coverage and low-power consumption comparable to that of a standard light bulb.

SenseCAP M1 supports operating system OTA and Docker-based software OTA, allowing for automatic online upgrades without the need for activation or monitoring. It also comes with a 64GB MicroSD card, which meets the memory requirements of any future upgrades.

The SenseCAP M1 is really easy to use. You can easily mount a SenseCAP M1 to the wall or next to your windows. To increase network coverage and make greater advantages, it is also recommended that gateways be placed 350-400 meters apart.

SenseCAP M1 is available in US915/EU868 versions with FCC/CE certifications. It also supports EU868 / US915 / AU915 / KR920 / AS923 frequency plans without any additional settings. The antenna and power adaptor for each version are included. Depending on your location zone, you can select the frequency band version.
